Methodology
Each score breaks down to four criteria. Here it says what goes into each, how weighted and when a vendor is capped or gets no evaluation at all.
Laboratory testing
25 %Not whether to test, but how to test. A report that is in the lab and linked from there counts full, because no one can repair it at his own desk. A self-hosted PDF counts less. A test commitment without a designated laboratory hardly counts. Where independently measured values are available, they enter here and weigh heavier than any self-disclosure.
- ✓Reports available on the domain of the laboratory instead of self-hosted
- ✓Laboratory named and the test scope named per batch
- ✓Extent beyond purity: endotoxin, heavy metals, sterility
- ✓Independently measured values: amount of active substance against declaration, purity, endotoxin
Legal entity and traceability
25 %Who is liable, and you find him. Without an ascertainable contractual partner, any other promise is worthless: Who wants to claim, revoke or sue, otherwise does not know against whom. Exactly here, the spread in the test field is largest, from complete register details to an imprint page on which only the shop name is written.
- ✓Company name with legal form and portable address
- ✓Registration number, competent court and VAT identification number
- ✓Designated person empowered to act
- ✓Accessible means of contact for timely declarations, not just a form
Delivery and purchase processing
20 %It is calculated from receipt of payment, not from shipping. A shop that processes seven business days and then delivers ten days takes three weeks, even if the page says “7 to 10 days”. Then there is the question of what happens if something goes wrong.
- ✓Duration from receipt of payment, shipping costs and shipping service vendors
- ✓Cancellation policy and terms and conditions available and findable
- ✓Return, refund and subsequent delivery rules in wording
- ✓Payment methods with buyer protection instead of pure prepayment
Product positioning
30 %Applies the presentation to the declared purpose. A research note in the small print weighs little if the shop sells finished injection pens, nasal sprays or capsules, offers a dosage calculator, sorted according to muscle building and weight loss or advertises with prescription freedom. It evaluates the contradiction within the side itself, not our opinion on it.
- ✓Dosage form: Vials for laboratory use instead of pens, sprays or capsules
- ✓Research notice visibly placed, not only in the terms and conditions
- ✓Catalogue not sorted by body goals
- ✓No advertising with brand names of prescription medicines or freedom from prescription
Two rules that are above the criteria
Limit exclusion criteria. Anyone who openly advertises circumventing customs control or advertises prescription medicines as over-the-counter does not exceed 30 points, no matter how good the rest is. Otherwise, a quick shipment would result in a legal violation, and a comparison site cannot afford that. Which vendor is capped why, is on his own page in the wording.
No operation, no evaluation. Anyone who no longer sells is no longer in it. Shipping, payment, customer service and laboratory testing cannot be evaluated if no one can order anymore, and a number would suggest just that. In August 2026, this affected three entries: a US merchant who stopped selling himself, a page that bore his name and no longer answers, and a shop whose domain no longer dissolves. Also out are two manufacturers of fine chemicals for the pharmaceutical industry: They do not deliver to end customers, and measured with shop criteria, a judgment arises that misses the point.
Where the data comes from
In short: The Pep Test Guide 2026 is not a laboratory and does not carry out its own tests. If you want to measure your own batch, find the two ways there on the side Have a batch tested. We evaluate what each vendor makes public. Lab Certificates (COAs), batch IDs, Imprint, Age Gate, Payment Methods, Refund and Reship Policy.
For the lab testing category, we use the publicly available batch COAs and look for each batch: HPLC purity, endotoxin (LAL), heavy metals. The individual certificates with batch IDs and test date are directly on the side of the respective vendor, separately according to whether the vendor has commissioned the test itself or whether external measurement was carried out in the blind test. Where there is nothing to a vendor, there is nothing there.
What we don't make money with
No paid placements. We do not sell peptides, do not place an order and do not have a commission or advertising agreement with any of the vendors assessed here. The links to the shops do not carry a compensation identifier. A better place is not available here.
There is an income, disclosed. On the side Have a batch tested We refer to the Madsen Academy, a non-profit educational association through which members can commission laboratory analyses. If someone follows this link and becomes a member, we get a participation. The reference is marked everywhere as an affiliate link. The Madsen Academy does not sell peptides, is not evaluated and is not in any ranking, so it cannot touch the order here.
Why it says this: For comparison sites in this market, the opposite is the normal case. Anyone who wants to know whether a review is purchased should find the answer without having to search for it. If something changes, it stands at this point before it takes effect.
